Key West Division match-up at LSU

BATON ROUGE, La. — The Arkansas Razorback men’s basketball team stays on the road tonight for a key Southeastern Conference Western Division game with LSU at 7 p.m.

The game is covered by the SEC Network, which is the league’s over-the-air network. In the northwest Arkansas area, the game airs on KHOG. Check you local listings for the SEC Network. It will also stream in video via ESPN360 and audio for RazorVision subscribers at ArkansasRazorbacks.com.

The 14-13 razorbacks are 7-5 in the West, and locked in a tight battle with Mississippi State for the division title. Arkansas defeated LSU earlier this year, 87-52, at Bud Walton Arena.

The Tigers are winless in SEC play, and trying to avoid becoming the first league men’s basketball team to go winless since the early days of the conference when former member Georgia Tech set the standard for futility.

Arkansas is coiming of a road loss last game at Auburn, and the win at LSU would give the Razorbacks a sweep over LSU for the second times in the past three seasons.

Sophomore guards Courtney Fortson (19.4 ppg) and Rotnei Clark (16 ppg) continues to lead the Razorbacks in scoring. Freshman Marshawn Powell has come on strong the past few games, averaging 24.5 ppg in the last two contests to lift his overall average to 15.5 ppg for the year.

Arkansas returns home to Walton Arena for Vanderbilt on Saturday, a 12:47 p.m. start also on the SEC Network.
