FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Arkansas senior Moses Kingsley continues to garner national attention as NBC Sports ranks the top 100 players in the country and the top big men in the nation leading into the 2016-17 season.

Already named the SEC Preseason Player of the Year and one of 20 players on the watch list for the 2017 Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Award, Kingsley is ranked the No. 21 college basketball player in the country by NBC Sports.

To go along with his national top 25 ranking, he was also recognized as the No. 6 big man in the nation.

Kingsley posted 16 double-doubles last season, the most of any returning high-major player in the country. He finished the 2015-16 regular season as one of five high-major players in the nation averaging at least 16.0 points and 9.0 rebounds per game and was one of three players in the country with multiple games of 20 points, 10 rebounds and five blocks.

After recording 76 blocks as a junior to rank second in the SEC, Kingsley enters his senior campaign ranked fifth in program history with 163 career blocks.

Arkansas picked up a 27-point victory in its preseason opener against Central Missouri and will host Emporia State on Friday, Nov. 4 in the final exhibition of the year. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. in Bud Walton Arena.
