Kushner Just Misses SEC Finals

GAINESVILLE, Fla.-The University of Arkansas diving team finished the first day of the Southeastern Conference Diving Championships in Gainesville, Fla. Freshman Brieanne Kushner just missed the finals of the meet as she took 10th in the three-meter springboard.

Head diving coach Scott Reich said it was a tough field in the three-meter event for the Lady Razorbacks.

“She was definitely the best freshman in the competition just a few points out,” Reich said. “I think she’ll just keep getting better each competition is a stepping stone.”

Kushner contributed to Arkansas’ effort as she scored with her performance a score of 429.70.

The Lady’Backs continue SEC competition with the one-meter board preliminaries beginning at 11 a.m.
