Lady'Backs Host Missouri State Tuesday

FAYETTEVILLE – The University of Arkansas softball team hosts a doubleheader with Missouri State, Tuesday, April 11 beginning at 4:00 p.m.

The Lady Razorbacks (17-25) have already met the Bears (27-11) this season as they defeated Missouri State, 3-2, February 26, in the Lady’Back Invitational. In the all-time series, Arkansas trails the Bears 11-15. Last season in Springfield, Mo., the Lady’Backs won the nightcap, 4-0, after falling 5-3.

In conference play, Missouri State just won a Missouri Valley series taking two games from South Illinois, while the Lady’Backs fell to South Carolina in an abbreviated Southeastern series, April 8-9.

For the Lady’Backs, senior Blaire Perry leads the offense with a team-high .264 batting average and 32 hits while junior Rachel LeMaster follows with a .263 mark and 31 hits. In the circle, sophomore Katy Henry has a 2.16 ERA.
