Landry Named Individual Qualifier for NCAA Central Regional

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. Arkansas sophomore golfer Andrew Landry was selected as one of six individual qualifiers for the NCAA Central Regional the NCAA Division I Men’s Golf Committee announced on Tuesday.

The NCAA Central Regional will be played at the Rich Harvest Farms Golf Course in Sugar Groves, Ill., on May 17-19.

The Port Neches, Texas, native is coming off of a tie for fourth place at the SEC Championships. He was the Razorbacks’ top finisher in nine of 13 tournaments this season, including the Wolf Run Intercollegiate, Oklahoma Intercollegiate, John A. Burns Intercollegiate, Callaway Invitational, Border Olympics, Hootie at Bulls Bay, Diet Pepsi Shocker Classic, U.S. Intercollegiate and the SEC Championships.

Landry’s top finishes were a second-place performance at the Diet Pepsi Shocker Classic and third-places finishes at the Wolf Run Intercollegiate and the Callaway Invitational.

He leads the Hogs in scoring average at 72.0 and ranks among the best in the Southeastern Conference. Landry finished in the top 10 in eight events this season and in the top 10 on six of those occasions.
