Landry Named to Player to Watch List

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. Arkansas junior Andrew Landry has been named to Golf World magazine’s “Top 50 Male Players to Watch” list for the 2007-08 season.

Landry was an honorable mention PING All-American last season, the first Razorback to receive the honor since 2003. He was also a second-team All-SEC performer in his first season at Arkansas.

In 14 events played last season, Landry posted nine top-10 results, including six finishes in the top five. He finished tied for the fourth at the SEC Championships and tied for sixth at the NCAA Central Regional. His season-best result came at the Diet Pepsi Shocker Classic where he finished in a tie for second place. He also led the team with a 72.2 scoring average.
