FAYETTEVILLE – University of Arkansas head women’s golf coach Shauna Estes-Taylor announced the signing of Hally Leadbetter to a National Letter of Intent wrapping up the early signing period.
Leadbetter joins Audrey Monssoh who signed last week.
"We are very excited about signing Halley and Audreyto our team," Estes-Taylor said. "We have watched them both for a couple of years now and feel they fit the mold of the kind of young lady and golfer that we love to bring to our family.
"Hallyis an amazing young lady," Estes-Taylor continued. "She is smart and has all the tools to be successful at the collegiate level and beyond. She has a tremendous work ethic that you don’t often see in a young lady. She has great length and gets better every time she competes.Hally’s best golf is ahead of her and I’m excited to get her here and get her working in our system. She will have a great impact on our future."
Leadbetter has had five top five finishes in FCWT competition and four top 10s in ASGA events. She finished 10th at the AJGA Innisbrook event as a junior and won the IMG Leadbetter Naples event as a senior.
Leadbetter attends The Pendleton School in Bradenton, Fla. She is the daughter of David and Kelly Leadbetter and has two brothers, Andy and James. Father David runs the David Leadbetter Golf Academy within IMG Academies in Bradenton, Fla. Mother Kelly is a former LPGA Tour professional and current instructor.
