Lewis, Lopez Play To Top 10 Finishes

ROGERS, Ark. — Former Razorbacks Stacy Lewis and Gabriela Lopez both played to top 10 finishes at the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship presented by P&G at Pinnacle Country Club in Rogers on Sunday.

Lewis, who graduated in 2008 with a degree in finance, entered the day tied for second but hit a few tough patches en route to a tie for fourth place shooting 66-65-69=200 (-13).

Lopez graduated in 2016, attended Q school and participated in the Rio Olympics. She finished tied for 10th shooting 68-68-67=203 (-10).

Lewis and Lopez cap off a week of Razorback golf that included current Razorbacks Kaylee Benton and Maria Fassi playing in the Monday qualifier and rising senior Alana Uriell taking part in weekend play on a sponsor’s exemption. Former Razorbacks Regina Plasencia, Victoria Vela and Summar Roachell also played on Monday with Plasencia winning and playing on the weekend.

Former Razorback All-American Emily Tubert was also in the field as one of nine University of Arkansas representatives this week.
