Lewis recognized at Arkansas-Kentucky football game

FAYETTEVILLE – University of Arkansas senior golfer Stacy Lewis will be recognized at the Arkansas-Kentucky football game Saturday. Lewis will be honored between the first and second quarter for all of her recent accomplishments during the recent season. Some of those include trophy honors at the LPGA NW Arkansas Championship where Lewis posted a course record 65. Play was suspended after just one round and no official winner was declared. Lewis, a The Woodlands, Texas, native, won the 2007 NCAA National title, the Dinah Shore Trophy and participated in the U.S. Women’s Open and the U.S. Women’s Amateur. She helped the United States win the Copa de las Americas and she won the Women’s Southern Amateur. Lewis and the Lady Razorbacks open the 2007-08 collegiate season next weekend at the Lady Kat Invitational in Lexington, Ky.
