DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. The 20th-ranked University of Arkansas women’s golf team finished 13th at the NCAA Fall Preview in Daytona Beach, Fla., Sunday.
Arkansas finished with a final round 301 for a 905 (307-297-301) against one of the toughest fields outside of the NCAA Championship.
“We shot 301 today and I’m glad to get out with that score,” said Arkansas head coach Kelley Hester. “All of the scores were a bit higher and that’s not too bad to end with. This is a very good field and I thought we hung in there against some great teams and we beat a few teams who were ranked ahead of us. That’s always good.”
