Lopez Shines At Lorena Orchoa Invitational

MEXICO CITY, Mexico – University of Arkansas senior Gabriela Lopez fired a final round 75 and tied for 26th place overall at the Lorena Orchoa Invitational in Mexico City, Mexico, this weekend.

Lopez, playing on her home course with a sponsor’s exemption, shot 71-74-73-75=293. Had Lopez been a professional golfer in the event, she would have earned $10,422.00.

The event was Lopez’s third LPGA start of 2015 after she finished runner-up at the NCAA Championship. She also finished tied for 29th at the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship Presented by P&G and she made the field at the U.S. Women’s Open this year.
