Lukomskaya earns first national ranking
FAYETTEVILLE— The No. 22 University of Arkansas women’s tennis team boast highly regarded roster once again in the latest installment of the ITA rankings released on Tuesday.
Anouk Tigu, Arkansas’ top player, is ranked 65th in the nation and No. 2 in the central region to lead the Hogs. Tigu currently owns a9-7 spring record and is 18-9 on the year. She is also ranked 39th in doubles along with freshman Claudine Paulson.
Standout sophomore Kate Lukomskaya debuted in the national rankings for the first-time in her career at No. 115. In the central region rankings, Lukomskaya earned a No. 9 ranking playing mostly at the No. 2 singles position. She holds an 10-5 record in dual matches and an impressive 21-8 overall season record.

This weekend, Arkansas will welcome conference foes Auburn and Alabama to the George M. Billingsley Tennis Center in Fayetteville to host the final home matches of the season. First serve is set for noon on Friday against the Tigers and then will face the Crimson Tide on Sunday at noon.
