Match time change with BYU; top 50 showdown Friday morning

FAYETTEVILLE — The start forFriday’s women’s tennis match between the University of Arkansas and Brigham Young University is moving up to 11 a.m., Lady Razorback head coach Micheal Hegarty announced.

The travel plans for the Cougars required the move from a 1 p.m. start at the Dills Indoor Tennis Center.

The match also brings together two top 50 teams in the most recent ITA collegiate rankings. Arkansas, 6-1, has moved up to #48 in the poll while Brigham Young is #35.

The Lady’Backs have been idle since last weekend’s sweep of Big 12 regional rivals Oklahoma and Kansas.

Arkansas is led by its No. 1 singles player, Ela Kaluder, who saw her ITA ranking move into the top 40 at No. 40 with this week’s rankings.
