SPLIT, Croatia – In a hometown welcome for sophomore Barbara Dapic, the University of Arkansas volleyball team was a guest in the office of Split mayor Ivo Baldasar Wednesday morning. The Razorbacks are currently on day nine of their 13-day European tour and will play OK Brda, Dapic’s former club team, Wednesday evening in Split.
The day also featured a tour of Diocletian’s Palace. Arkansas capped Wednesday’s meeting by Calling the Hog with Split government officials (picture attached). Prior to their stay in Croatia, the Razorbacks visited Milan and Venice in Italy and Maribor, Slovenia. The final stop of the team’s tour is Prague, Czech Republic, before traveling back to the United States on June 1.
