FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – “On the Air with Bret Bielema,” Coach Bielema’s weekly radio show presented by AT&T and Lindsey, returns on Thursday night at 7 p.m. at the Catfish Hole in Fayetteville. This week’s show feature seniors Davyon McKinney and Alex Volezke as Arkansas prepares for Saturday’s homecoming game against UT Martin.
Chuck Barrett, the voice of the Razorbacks, will host head coach Bret Bielema and fans can make reservations to attend the show by calling the Catfish Hole at 479-521-7008. Tickets are $25 and include all you can eat dinner buffet with catfish, shrimp and chicken.
Arkansas is fresh off a thrilling four-overtime, 54-46, win over SEC West foe Auburn last Saturday that moved the Razorbacks’ SEC mark to 2-2 at the midway point of the league slate. Both McKinney and Voelzke are part of a 13-player senior class that has grown under coach Bielema and will look to extend their time as Razorbacks one more game over the final five regular season contests. A native of Forrest City, Ark., McKinney has played in 31 games at Arkansas, making the change from a high school wide receiver to safety. Hailing from Longview, Texas, Voelzke has been an essential part of all facets of special teams and has seen time at tight end.
The show will be carried throughout the state of Arkansas on the Razorback Sports Network and in Fayetteville on 92.1 FM and 93.3 FM.
