Men head to La-Lafayette for tournament

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Three members of the Arkansas men’s tennis team take to the road this weekend for the University of Louisiana-Lafayette’s Fall Invitational. Junior Dmitry Lebedev, sophomore Tyler Tarnasky and freshman Matt Walters will represent the Razorbacks in this weekend’s tournament.

Walters began his Razorbacks career last weekend at the Navy Invitational with a 2-1 singles record and went 3-0 with Oklahoma’s Chase Miller in doubles. As a freshman Lebedev finished the 2008 spring season with an overall record of 18-14. Both he and Tarnasky will play in their first matches of the season this weekend.

Play begins Friday morning at the Cajun Courts and Culotta Center and includes netters from fellow SEC team LSU. For complete results and updates, log onto www.ArkansasRazorbacks.com.
