How Cox sees it (the Razorback Invitational)“The matches this weekend were closer than the scores suggest. Oregon and Pacific have very good teams that really pushed us. For us to come out and defend our home court as we did this weekend says a lot about this team.”

Scouting OklahomaThe No. 72 Sooners are 4-2 this spring after posting victories over TCU, Pacific, Texas-Pan American and Oral Roberts. Three of the Sooners’ singles players are ranked in the top 125 entering Friday’s match with Arkansas: No. 44 Andrei Daescu, No. 76 Sergey Avdeyev and No. 121 Ionut Beleleu. Hog Matt Hogan defeated Daescu at the Wilson/ITA Central Region Championships, 7-5, 6-4, at Dills Indoor Stadium in October.

Scouting TexasThis year, No. 2 Texas (7-1) returns four All-Americans – senior Miguel Reyes Varela, junior Dimitar Kutrovsky and sophomores Ed Corrie and Kellen Damico from the 2008 team that finished as the NCAA runner-up.
