Men's Tennis host No. 2 Tennessee

Fayetteville — On Sunday, the No. 50 University of Arkansas men’s tennis (9-8, 1-4) team will return home to go up against another top ranked team in No. 2 Tennessee (16-1, 5-0) at the Dills Indoor Tennis Center. First serve is set for 12:30 p.m.
Going into the weekend, the Razorbacks are up for the challange and hope to win their first match against a top 25 team this season and stop a three-match skid.
Last time the two teams met senio9-8r Dmitry Lebedev earned the Hogs only victory with a 6-0, 2-6, 6-4 win over Davey Sangren at the No. 4 singles position.
The second-ranked Tennessee Volunteers are off to a strong start in conference play with five consecutive SEC victories. This season, the Volunteers have four players ranked in the top 100 in the country and led by the No. 2 singles player in the nation, junior John-Patrick Smith. Also ranked for Tennessee is Boris Conkic at No. 32, Rhyne Williams at No. 44 and No. 95 Matt Brewer.
In doubles action, Tennessee boasts three teams ranked in the top 10 in the nation. Picking up their 26th victory of the season Smith and partner Sandgren returned to the NO. 1 team with their over LSU last weekend.
