The coaches selected nine captains to select their teams in a snake draft leading up to the competition. Captains included Jarian Lawson, Tomas Squella, Ryan Thomas, Neil Braddy, Travis Southard, Marek Niit, Akheem Gauntlett, Eric Janise and Caleb Cross.
Team Lawson took the overall crown with a winning time of 3:19.86 for the event. The team consisted of Laswon, Dwayne Golbek, David Wren and Brandon Hill.
There was also an award for the fastest split and of course the Halloween costume contest. Akheem Gauntlett clocked a 400m split of 46.56 for the fastest split. The winner of the costume contest came down to a vote between Nathanael Franks as Thor and Golbek as a baby coach Travis Geopfert.
