Michigan next in ITAs; 3 p.m. start

FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas hosts Michigan for the right to advance to the ITA team indoor championships in a 3 p.m. match today at the Billingsley Tennis Center.

The championship match of the ITA Kick-Off Weekend is moving back one hour to 3 p.m. from the orignally scheduled 2 p.m. today.

In the consolation, South Carolina faces Washington at 11 a.m., also a one-hour delay.

Yesterday, Arkansas defeated Washington, 5-2, to advance to the second round of the national indoor team tournament. Kelsey Sundaram had the clinching singles win as the Razorbacks easily moved ahead.

The Wolverines need a three-set rally from its leader, Denise Muresan, on the first court to take a 4-3 decision over South Carolina.
