MATCH 3 – No. 1 Penn State vs. No. 23 Arkansas (Fayetteville, Ark.)
Arkansas Soccer fans were up to the challenge of trying to break the single-game attendance record for the fourth-straight year when the Razorbacks took on the Nittany Lions. 3,401 fans came through the turnstiles Friday night to see if the Hogs could knock off the former national champions. Early on it seemed the extra energy was going to help them achieve that.

Razorback sophomore Stefani Doyle scored in the second minute of play off a Parker Goins cross to give Arkansas a 1-0 lead to send the fans into a deafening frenzy. Much was reminiscent of last year’s victory over No. 2 Duke, but this time, the visitors had a response.

Penn State scored twice in the opening half to take a goal lead into halftime. After the break, freshman Taylor Malham brought the Hogs even with her second goal in as many weeks in the 46th minute. However, again, Penn State scored two more goals and were able to hold on and win, 4-2.
