NEW YORK – While the majority of the No. 2 Arkansas women’s track and field team will be resting this weekend in preparation for the upcoming Tyson Invitational (Feb. 10-11), middle distance duo Therese Haiss and Nikki Hiltz will be representing the Razorbacks in the Big Apple at the 2017 Armory Invitational.
Two of the best milers in the NCAA, Haiss and Hiltz will contest the invitational section of the eight-lap race on Saturday afternoon, competing as the only two collegiate entrants in the field of 10. The pair currently have the fifth (4:36.42, Hiltz) and eighth (4:37.27, Haiss) best mile times on the most recent NCAA indoor performance list which they secured at the first meet of the season, the Arkansas Invitational (Jan. 13).
