Midweek Brings Mississippi State to Barnhill

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – In continuing its four-match home stand, the University of Arkansas returns to action Wednesday night to host Mississippi State. First serve of the midweek Southeastern Conference matchup is scheduled for 7 p.m. (CT) at Barnhill Arena. The match will be televised on the SEC Network. Individual tickets are $5 while UA students with valid ID and fans 17 years and younger receive free admission.

All-Time Series
Arkansas holds a 37-5 lead in its all-time series against Mississippi State, a mark that represents the most wins against any opponent in program history. The Razorbacks have won the last eight meetings dating back to the 2010 season. In matches played at Barnhill Arena, Arkansas is 19-1 on its home floor against Mississippi State.

Jones Turns It On

Rippee Gets Defensive
Freshman setter Rachel Rippee tied her career high with 13 digs against Auburn (Oct. 23). She dished out 44 assists in the match to complete her team-leading fifth double-double of the season. Three of her four 40-assist efforts have come during SEC play.

Just Around the Corner
Senior co-captain Danielle Harbin enters the week six kills shy of joining the program’s all-time top 25 and just 15 kills away from reaching the 600 career mark. With double figures in 16 of 21 matches this season, she is third in the SEC and 43rd in the NCAA at 4.07 kills per set.
