Mike Nail Selected to Host The Houston Nutt Show

, Ark.
– Longtime Razorback basketball play-by-play announcer Mike Nail has been selected as the host of the Houston Nutt Show for 2006.
The Houston Nutt Show is a one-hour show airing on Sunday following every Razorback football game.

“Mike was an obvious choice to host the show,” said Matt Shanklin, General Manager. “He is the consummate professional and very familiar to Razorback fans. We are certain Mike will be a great host.”

Nail replaces longtime host and KATV Sports Director Paul Eells who was tragically killed in a car accident on July 31.

Mike Nail is a freelance broadcast journalist based in Fayetteville. For a number of years, he served as sports director for a KHBS/KHOG channels 40/29 and KPOM/KFAA channel 24/51. In addition to handling the Razorback basketball play-by-play duties, Nail has also recently worked play-by-play on Razorback baseball television broadcasts on Cox Sports Television.
