Moffett earns Academic All-District honors

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Razorback soccer player Kat Moffett has been selected to the ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District Third Team. The junior forward carries a 3.63 cumulative grade point average as a broadcast journalism major.Moffett has appeared in 16 games this season with 12 starts, including seven of Arkansas’ 10 SEC contests. She has scored five points—two goals and one assist—this season. The McKinney, Texas, native posted her first career two-goal performance in the Razorbacks’ 7-0 win over Nicholls St. Moffett assisted on Arkansas’ goal against Mississippi St., a 1-0 victory by the Razorbacks.Arkansas takes on LSU in the 2008 regular-season finale Friday in Baton Rouge, La. The Razorbacks sit in ninth place in the SEC heading into Friday’s contest.
