Moran Takes Second Kushner in Top 20

FAYETTEVILLE – University of Arkansas sophomore diver Brieanne Kushner finished 19th on the three-meter springboard at the Canadian Senior National Diving Championships and Commonwealth Games Trials, Sunday, Jan. 29, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.

Former Lady Razorback Mandy Moran, along with her partner Martha Dale, finished second in the three-meter synchronized diving event. The duo’s performance earned them a trip to the 2006 Commonwealth Games in March in Melbourne, Australia.

Individually, Moran was sixth in the one and three meter while Kushner finished 24th on the one meter. After missing the Auburn and Florida State meet, Jan. 28, Kushner returns to competition with the Lady’Backs at the Southeastern Conference Championships, Feb. 15-18, in Knoxville, Tenn.
