FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas sophomore outfielder Jacob Morris will miss the rest of the 2012 season after suffering a broken right index finger in the Razorbacks’ series finale against Auburn on Saturday. The injury occurred in the fourth inning of Saturday’s game against the Tigers when Morris laid down a perfect safety squeeze bunt up the first base line. The bunt brought in a run from third base. Morris has played in all 52 games for the Razorbacks this season, including 49 starts. Morris is hitting .236 with three homers and 23 RBI. Arkansas returns to action on Tuesday as it faces Louisiana Tech at Dickey-Stephens Park in North Little Rock, Ark. First pitch for the contest is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. and the game will be televised on CST.
