FAYETTEVILLE – The No. 11 University of Arkansas gymnastics will compet in the NCAA Gymnastics Championship on Friday, April 19, in Los Angeles, Calif. The Razorbacks are the lowest seeded team in their semifinal, which is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. CST in Pauley Pavilion.
Arkansas will begin competition on the vault and then continue with a bye before bars, beam, bye before floor and finsish on the floor, which is the Razorbacks strongest event.
Alabama will start on the bye before floor, Michigan will start on the bars, UCLA will start on the beam, utah will start on the bye before floor and Oklahoma, the highest ranked team in the semifinal will start on the floor.
The Razorbacks need to score better than three of the teams in the semifinal to advance to the Super Six meet on Saturday. Individual event finals will be on Sunday with individual qualifing for the event finals from their scores on Friday night.
