NCAA track lists announced

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Arkansas Razorback women’s track and field will have 10 student-athletes competing in five events at the NCAA Championships, March 13-14, it was announced by the NCAA Division I Track and Field Committee on Monday.

The Razorbacks recorded three automatic qualifiers during the regular season. Junior All-American Katie Stripling ranks second nationally in the pole vault with her clearance of 14-3.25. Sophomore Catherine White’s 5,000-meter time of 16:07.50, clocked at Friday’s Arkansas Last Chance, ranks her 11th on the NCAA list. Freshman pole vaulter Tina Sutej sits at No. 10 on the list with her height of 13-9.25.

Arkansas picked up additional qualifiers in sophomore Shelise Williams in the 400 meters (53.52, 11th), senior All-American Denise Bargiachi in the 5,000 meters (16:15.65, 15th), sophomore Tara Diebold in the pole vault (13-8.25, 15th), senior Peter-Gaye Beckford in the long jump (20-9.25, 13th) and the 4×400-meter relay (3:35.28, fourth).
