FAYETTEVILLE– Arkansas’ fall softball season concludes with Northeast Oklahoma A&M on Wednesday, Oct. 13, at Bogle Park. The first pitch is set for 5 p.m.The Razorbacks go into the finale with a 5-2-1 fall record after splitting two games against Oklahoma State on Saturday. UA took game one 2-1, but fell in the second game 3-1. The Hogs also picked up a mid-week win of 23-0 against Seminole State last Wednesday, Oct. 6.The NEO A&M was the first team to face the Razorbacks at Bogle Park when it opened in 2008. The Norsemen beat Arkansas 10-7 during the fall opener that season.“We brought that up yesterday at practice,” head coach Mike Larabee said about Arkansas’ loss to the Norsemen in 2008. “We are going to bring them a little bit of retribution for them beating us a couple of years ago before I got here.”NEO A&M comes off a 40-12 (19-9 conference) record in 2010 and ended the season ranked 19th in the NJCAA. The game begins at 5 p.m. at Bogle Park. The Razorbacks then take time to prepare for the 2011 season that begins Feb. 11-13 at the Louisiana-Lafayette Tournament. Prairie View is first on UA’s tournament schedule.
