No. 2 Razorbacks Return To Action At Home
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Coming off back-to-back trips to California and Texas the No.2 Arkansas women’s track and field team returns to action in Fayetteville on April 21-23 set to host the John McDonnell Invitational.
Head coach Lance Harter’s team leads the Southeastern Conference in the national rankings as one of 12 SEC programs to secure its place among the nation’s elite.

Teams making the trip this weekend to Northwest Arkansas include Arkansas Baptist, Coffeyville, Kansas State, Missouri, Missouri Southern, Missouri State, Oklahoma State and Wisconsin.
Events to Watch
200 Meters
Currently ranked third on the NCAA 400-meter performance list, senior Daina Harper will compete in the 200 this weekend along with top Razorback short sprinters, Jada Baylark, Kiara Parker and Payton Stumbaugh. Additional Razorbacks scheduled to compete in the event include heptathlon and long jump program record holder Taliyah Brooks as well as Arkansas Baptist transfer Sunkietra McCallister.
800 Meters
Sophomore Ceara Watson will headline the two-lap race for the Razorbacks. Watson currently holds the seventh-best time in the conference this season with her 2:06.57 from the Stanford Invitational earlier in April.
1,500 Meters
The 1,500 will feature two ProHogs as Dominique Scott-Efurd and Jessica Kamilos plan to take on the event on Saturday at 7:45 p.m. CT. The former Razorback All-Americans could potentially draw out some top times from current Hogs, racing in their section including Sydney Brown, Devin Clark, Abby Gray, Maddy Reed, Valerie Reina, Regan Ward and Taylor Werner.
Jumps
ProHogs Ariel Voskamp and Megan Zimlich will pursue new heights alongside resident high flyers, Desiree Freier, Lexi Weeks and Tori Weeks in Saturday afternoon’s pole vault competition. While the weather looks to be less than optimal, the Razorbacks currently still plan on attempting to reach higher clearances and to help them move up the nation’s leader boards.
The John McDonnell Invitational will be the second of three home outdoor meets for coach Harter’s squad. The Razorbacks will close out their regular season at home with the Arkansas Twilight on Friday, May 5.
