Last Meeting: Arkansas avoided a series sweep with a 16-12 10-inning victory over the Bulldogs in Athens last season. Georgia posted 10-3 and 8-4 victories in the first two games of the series.

Rankings: After sweeping Kentucky in Lexington last weekend, the Razorbacks reappeared in two national polls. Coaches: Dave Van Horn (Arkansas, 1988) is in his first season as head coach of the Razorbacks. Van Horn has a career record of 608-254 and is in his 15th season as a head coach. Dave Perno is in his second season as head coach of the Bulldogs. Perno has a career record of 46-42 after guiding the Bulldogs to a 32-29 record last season.
