No. 7 Razorbacks Collect Season’s Bests In Texas

AUSTIN, Texas – One of eight top 25 teams represented at the Texas Invitational, the seventh-ranked Arkansas men’s track and field team collected several exceptional season’s best performances in Austin Saturday afternoon.

Top Performances
4-x-100-meter relay quartet Kenzo Cotton, Jarrion Lawson, Roy Ejiakuekwu and Marqueze Washington dipped under 40 seconds to place third in the event with their season’s best time of 39.52 seconds.

Davon Anderson (110H) and Ken LeGassey (high jump) both finished in their respective events while Ryan Thomas picked up a third place-finish in the 800 in a season’s best of 1:48.26.

In the 800, Ryan Thomas placed third with an outdoor personal best of 1:48.26. Thomas was one of only six runners under 1:50 in the event.

Three Razorbacks — Jarrion Lawson, Josh Washington and Marqueze Washington — clocked sub-21 second performances in the 200. Washington had the best time of the trio, winning his heat of the 200 in 20.83.
