COLUMBIA, Mo. — The No. 10 University of Arkansas gymnastics team scored a 196.050 to beat Missouri with a 194.650 for the team’s first road score of the year. Senior All-American Katherine Grable led the team with her second all-around win of the young season, posting a 39.525 while collecting three more event titles on the season. Grable earned two routine scores of a 9.90 on the vault and the floor which she also claimed the event titles for. The Razorbacks took the lead in the first rotation and never looked back. Arkansas scored a 49.075 on the vault, improving its season best rotation score with help form season best marks from senior Bailee Zumwalde (9.775) and sophomore Heather Elswick (9.75) as well as three 9.80 plus routines from seniors Scarlett Williams (9.80), Grable (9.90) and freshman Amanda Wellick (9.85). Arkansas also improved their season best mark on the floor to a 49.025 with two routines of a 9.80 plus from Elswick with a 9.80 and Grable with a 9.90. Sophomore Sydnie Dillard and freshman Samantha Nelson also scored season best marks of 9.775 each.

What they said… co-head coach Mark Cook About the meet… “We came here tonight with the intention of scoring a 196.000 on the road and we did that,” co-head coach Mark Cook said. “We made some errors tonight but we didn’t count any falls and we were really tenacious on the road which is what we want to be.” About Grable’s performance… “She is on fire this year,” Cook said. “She is on a mission to show why she is one of the best gymnasts in the country and she is proving that.’
