AUSTIN, Texas – Women’s track and field will kick off the outdoor season at the Texas Relays on Wednesday. The No. 14 Razorbacks are coming off a sixth-place finish at the 2014 NCAA Championships. Multi events will begin Wednesday, followed with running and field events Thursday – Saturday.
The No. 14 Razorbacks return some familiar faces in Grace Heymsfield, Chrishuna Williams, Tamara Myers and Ivanique Kemp, while welcoming some new competition to the mix such as freshman polve vaulter Sandi Morris and Regine Williams.
C. Williams is the lone returner of the 2013 NCAA 4×400 Relay team that broke the school record at last year’s Outdoor Championships. Heymsfield set an Arkansas record at last year’s championships in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with 9:57.18
