No. 18 going into SEC Championships

FAYETTEVILLE – The Arkansas swim and dive team moves up in the two spots in the national rankings to No. 18, College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) announced on Tuesday.

The Razorbacks collected nine dual wins over the course of the 2010-11 season to bring their record to 9-2, 2-1 in the Southeastern Conference. Only losing to Tennessee and BYU, the Hogs topped conference foes Vanderbilt and South Carolina as well as Division II power Drury. A first place finish at the Purdue Invitational put the Hogs ahead of four other top-25 teams. The Hogs blew past Utah and Houston, while winning in a solid battle with Kansas.

Going into the Southeastern Conference Championships Georgia stays at No. 2, while Auburn jumps to No. 3. Florida and Tennessee are ranked eighth and ninth, respectively and Louisiana State falls out of the polls going into conference.

A final poll will be released following the conclusion of the conference championships.
