AUSTIN, Texas – Men’s track and field will kick off the outdoor season at the Texas Relays on Wednesday. The No. 1 Razorbacks are coming off a runner-up finish at the 2014 NCAA Championships. Multi events will begin Wednesday, followed with running and field events Thursday – Saturday.
The No. 1 Razorbacks return top-performers in Stanley Kebenei and Patrick Rono, along with The Bowerman Watch list member and 2014 Indoor Long Jump Champion Jarrion Lawson. SEC Indoor Freshman Runner of the Year and NCAA 60-meter hurdle Champion Omar McLeod will make his outdoor debut at the Texas Relays this week.
Kevin Lazas and Nathanael Franks will participate in the decalthon starting on Wednesday, with Lazas coming off a third-place finish at the 2014 Indoor Championships in the heptathlon.
