FAYETTEVILLE — The No. 21 Arkansas baseball team is back at home on Tuesday night as it hosts Oral Roberts in a non-conference tilt. First pitch between the Razorbacks and Golden Eagles is set for 6:35 p.m. Tuesday’s contest will be televised by CST and also streamed online at ArkansasRazorbacks.com. The web stream will be blacked out in areas where CST is available. Tuesday’s game will also be available on the Razorback Baseball Radio Network from IMG. Three-time Arkansas Sportscaster of the Year Chuck Barrett (play-by-play) and former Arkansas Sports Information Director Rick Schaeffer (analyst) will call the action. A Razorback money clip will also be given away to fans in attendance at Tuesday’s game. Arkansas has a 28-12 overall record and a 9-9 mark in Southeastern Conference play. The Razorbacks dropped two of three games at Ole Miss last weekend. After losing the first two games of the series, Arkansas salvaged the series finale with an 11-3 victory. Dominic Ficociello hit .455 (5-for-11) with four RBI in the series against the Rebels, while Jake Wise went 3-for-8 with two RBI and two runs scored in the series. Ficociello, who has a hit in 17 of his last 18 games, leads the Razorbacks at the plate with a team-leading .351 batting average with four homers and a team-best 29 RBI. Tim Carver is hitting .331 with 20 RBI and 12 stolen bases. Matt Reynolds, who has reached base in 23 straight games, has a .313 batting average with four homers and 26 RBI. Arkansas will start redshirt junior Trent Daniel against the Golden Eagles. Daniel has pitched in nine games, with one start, this season and has a 0-0 record with a save and a 5.84 ERA. Daniel’s last appearance came last Tuesday against Stephen F. Austin when he earned a save after throwing four shutout innings. Barrett Astin has pitched in 16 games, 13 in relief, and sports a 2-3 record with six saves and a 1.19 ERA. Colby Suggs has appeared in a team-leading 18 games and is 3-0 with a 1.37 ERA. Cade Lynch has made 17 relief outings and has a 2-1 record with two saves and a 2.13 ERA. Nolan Sanburn has made 13 appearances, 11 out of the bullpen, and is 2-1 with a 2.66 ERA. Oral Roberts enters Tuesday’s game with a 21-18 overall record and an 8-3 mark in Summit League play. The Golden Eagles have won four straight games after sweeping a four-game series from Western Illinois last weekend. ORU is hitting .262 as a team. The Golden Eagles are led at the plate by Jared Schlehuber, who is hitting .312 with a team-high 12 homers and 30 RBI. Jose Trevino is batting .308 with eight homers and 35 RBI, while Cam Schiller has a .299 batting average with eight round-trippers and a team-high 36 RBI. The Golden Eagles enter the game with a team ERA of 3.22. Oral Roberts has not announced a starter for Tuesday’s game. In relief, Lars Ligouri has pitched in a team-high 23 games and has a 0-1 record with a 1.42 ERA. Dan Martony has made 15 relief appearances and has compiled a 4-0 record with a save and a 2.77 ERA. Joe Spring has pitched in 15 games, 12 out of the bullpen, and is 2-1 with one save and a 1.81 ERA. Arkansas and Oral Roberts will be meeting for the 100th time on Tuesday. The Razorbacks hold a 64-35 lead in the series, including a 33-14 edge in Fayetteville. In last season’s game, Arkansas overcame a 5-2 deficit and defeated ORU 6-5 in Tulsa.
