FAYETTEVILLE — After extending the program’s record start to 7-0 with a thrilling overtime victory at Utah State on Friday night, the No. 25 University of Arkansas soccer team will head to Fort Worth, Texas, to take on TCU (2-4-1) on Sunday. The match is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. and will be broadcast live on Fox Sports Southwest (FSN). The 2-0 start on the road marks the fourth time in program history that the Razorbacks have done so. The Razorbacks have now won in overtime three different times with each golden goal coming from a different player. As a team, Arkansas has seen six different players pick up a game-winning goal on the season. "I think everyone is ready for the next challenge and TCU is going to be a big one at that,” head coach Colby Hale said. “They went to the Big 12 final last year and have already had some quality results this year that have made people sit up and notice. Our team is so mentally tough though and I really like the way they approach everything. It sounds like a lot of coach speak, but with this group it is such a professional approach. Everything is about the next challenge, the next training session, the next match. It’s all very impressive." Arkansas is tied for the NCAA lead with seven total wins on the season and leads the nation with five one-goal victories. The five-straight victories in one-goal matches is a program first while the three overtime wins are tied for the program single-season record. Sunday will mark the first meeting between the two teams in 13 years and the ninth overall. The Razorbacks are 1-5-2 all-time against TCU, with the last meeting coming back in 2000, when the two teams battled to a scoreless 0-0 draw.
