Nunn goes pro

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Former University of Arkansas women’s golfer Lucy Nunn begins her career as a professional on the Duramed FUTURES Tour it was announced recently. Nunn, who graduated in mid-May with a degree in kinesiology, is schedule to open the summer schedule June 3-4 at the Titan Tire Challenge at Hunters Ridge Golf Course in Marion, Iowa. “We’re very proud of Lucy,” said Arkansas head coach Shauna Estes-Taylor. “She has the best work ethic of any athlete I’ve coached. She wants to learn and get better every time she steps out on the course and I wish her the very best.” Nunn paced the Razorbacks to four consecutive NCAA Regional appearances and two NCAA Championship appearances during her career at Arkansas. She posted a career-best tie for seventh at the 2008 Southeastern Conference Championships and tied for 23rd at the NCAA Championships. She picked up her first collegiate win at LSU this spring and has several solid amateur performances under her belt.
