FAYETTEVILLE – Arkansas’ gymnastics team held its second intrasquad meet of the fall last week and video is available by following the link below.
The practice meet was broken up into two sessions. The video shows highlights from the first day, which includes vault and balance beam.
Vaulters in the video are sophomore Scarlett Williams, junior Jordan Salsberg, junior Kelci Lewis, junior Amy Borsellino, sophomore Katherine Grable, senior Jaime Pisani, senior Mariah Howdeshell, freshman Stephani Canizaro and sophomore Bailee Zumwalde.
Borsellino was a first-team All-American on vault last year and qualified for the NCAA individual event finals. Grable was a second-team All-American and Pisani was second-team All-Southeastern Conference. Pisani was also an All-American in 2009 and 2010. Pisani won four individual vault titles last season while Grable won two.
Beam workers in the video are Borsellino, sophomore Shelby Salmon, Canizaro, Williams, Salsberg, Pisani, Grable and Lewis.
Pisani was a second-team All-American last year. Grable won four individual beam titles, Salsberg two and Pisani one.

Arkansas’ gymnastics program is in its 10th season. In nine years, the Razorbacks have earned eight NCAA regional bids, won two NCAA regionals, advanced to the NCAA Championship five times, reached the NCAA Super Six, finished in the top 10 in the nation three times, finished ranked in the top 15 seven consecutive seasons, and produced 28 All-America selections and 13 NCAA individual event finals appearances.
In 2011, the Razorbacks tied for the Southeastern Conference regular-season championship, won the NCAA North Central Regional, tied for ninth in the nation, recorded two wins over No. 1-ranked Florida, beat No. 4 Georgia, and set school records with seven dual-meet wins and four road wins.
