Oparenovic Set For Qualifying Draw

PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. — Arkansas will return to action at the 2016 Riviera/ITA All-American Championships on Tuesday at the Riviera Tennis Club as Ana Oparenovic opens play in the qualifying singles draw.

The 60th-ranked sophomore is set to face Michigan’s 40th-ranked Kate Fahey at 10:30 a.m. CDT in the first round.

Oparenovic went 2-1 in singles and 3-1 in doubles in her first action of the fall at the Little Rock Classic, which was held in Little Rock, Arkansas, on Sept. 23-25.

In 2015, Oparenovic posted a 20-16 overall record in singles and earned Southeastern Conference All-Freshman Team honors for her efforts.
