FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Razorback junior Oskar Johansson has been recognized as the 35th-best player in the nation according to the ITA preseason rankings.
Johansson, a Malmoe, Sweden native, moved up 26 positions from 61st in last year’s final poll.
Claiming all-SEC honors last season, Johansson had an 11-4 record at No. 1 singles and a 5-1 record in SEC matches. In doubles, he posted a 10-6 record while playing with a number of Razorback teammates.
Johansson will be in action this weekend at the River Oaks Clay Court Invitational in Houston, Texas. The invitational begins Sept. 17 and ends Sept. 26th.
