FAYETTEVILLE – Senior Laurel Pastor and sophomore Allie Chandler have been named to the Florida Gulf Coast University Embassy Suites Kick-Off Classic all-tournament soccer team following Arkansas’ trip to Fort Myers, Fla., last weekend.

Arkansas recorded just its second victory ever over a team from the Atlantic Coast Conference with Friday’s 1-0 win over Miami. On Sunday, Arkansas fell in the last minute, 1-0, to host FGCU.

Pastor, a defender from Springfield, Va., played all 90 minutes in both games. She had three shots with one on goal. For the season, she has played every minute of all four games. Pastor has one assist and seven shots with two on goal.

Chandler, from Mesquite, Texas, had team highs of seven shots and four shots on goal for the two games. She has one goal and one assist for the year, and leads the team with three points. A member of the SEC’s All-Freshman team last year, she has 13 shots with six on goal.

The Razorbacks (2-2) are on the road again this week, playing at Missouri at 6:30 p.m. on Friday and at Missouri State at 4 p.m. on Sunday. Arkansas is back home on Sept. 17 for a 7 p.m. contest against St. Mary’s.
