FAYETTEVILLE – The University of Arkansas football team was back on the practice field Tuesday as it entered its first bye week of the season.
Offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Jim Chaney met with the media after practice and talked about what the team is working on during the bye week.
"We are talking about Auburn," Coach Chaney said. "That is where our mindset is. Today was about the developmental and the young kids, hopefully give them a chance to go out and play a little bit."
Coach Chaney also commented on the progression of the offense.
"Every day we are back doing a better job," Coach Chaney said. "We are trying to get the kids to understand the importance of the assignments and we are getting there, but it is a work in progress."
