#ProHogs | Coty Clarke Signs With Boston Celtics

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Former Razorback basketball player Coty Clarke has signed with the Boston Celtics, the NBA team announced on Friday.

After graduating from Arkansas in 2014, Clarke spent the 2014-15 season playing for Hapoel Kazrin in Israel, where he averaged 19.4 points and 9.4 rebounds per game.

In two seasons at Arkansas, Clarke established himself as a versatile player under head coach Mike Anderson. In 65 games, he averaged 8.6 points, 5.4 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.5 steals per game. As a senior, he ranked seventh in the SEC with 51 steals and an 81 percent mark from the charity stripe.

Clarke posted 26 double-figure scoring games, including a career-high 23 points in a win over Georgia on March 1, 2014. He also had seven double-figure rebounding games, including three career double-doubles.

The Celtics play the first of seven preseason games on Tuesday, Oct. 6, before opening the regular season at home against the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday, Oct. 28.
