#ProHogs Preview: Week 14

Here are three NFL games featuring #ProHogs to watch in Week 14 of the NFL season.

Washington Redskins at Los Angeles Chargers | Sunday, Dec. 10 | 3:05 p.m. | CBS

Los Angeles’ Hunter Henry has been one of the most productive tight ends in the NFL the last couple of weeks. He has back-to-back weeks of at least 75 yards receiving and five receptions. The Chargers are 5-1 this season when Henry hauls in at least three receptions, including five straight. Last week against the Cleveland Browns, Henry graded out at 89.6 according to Pro Football Focus, the second-highest grade on the Chargers in Week 13. Henry has 38 receptions this season for 501 yards and three touchdowns.

Also on the Chargers is defensive lineman Darius Philon. Philon made his second start of the season last week, recording two tackles, including one 3-yard sack, two tackles for loss and one quarterback hit. It was Philon’s fifth game this season with a tackle for loss, second with multiple negative stops. He has a quarterback hit in four of the last five games.

On the other sideline stands Washington’s Martrell Spaight and Jeremy Sprinkle. Spaight has five games this season with at least seven tackles, including two of the last four. Despite a nagging ankle injury the last two weeks, Spaight still ranks fourth in tackles on the Redskins with 44 total stops. Sprinkle has seen limited action this season, mainly on special teams, but did record his first career reception and touchdown in Week 11.

Baltimore Ravens at Pittsburgh Steelers | Sunday, Dec. 10 | 7:30 p.m. | NBC

Baltimore running back Alex Collins has burst onto the scene this season in his second year in the league. After going 19 games without a touchdown to start his career, Collins has at least one rushing score in three straight contests, including his first multi-touchdown game last week. Collins rushed 15 times for 75 yards and pulled in two receptions for 13 yards last week against Detroit. He has totaled 705 yards on the ground on 144 carries and four touchdowns. Collins ranks 11th in the league in yards at 705 but second in yards per carry at 4.9, among backs with at least 140 carries.

New England Patriots at Miami Dolphins | Monday, Dec. 11 | 7:30 p.m. | ESPN

New England’s Trey Flowers and Deatrich Wise continue to stand out on the Patriots’ defensive front. Wise recorded his third start of the season last week, tallying four tackles and a quarterback hit against the Buffalo Bills. Flowers did not play due to a rib injury but has practiced this week in a limited role. Flowers has 46 tackles this season, including six sacks, five tackles for loss, 19 quarterback hits and two forced fumbles. Wise has 21 tackles in his rookie season, to go along with three sacks, four tackles for loss and 15 quarterback hits.

Miami acquired tight end A.J. Derby two weeks ago. Derby did not play last week against his former team, the Denver Broncos. Derby has 224 yards receiving this season on 19 receptions and two touchdowns.
