#ProHogs Preview: Week 15

Here are three NFL games featuring #ProHogs to watch in Week 15 of the NFL season.

Los Angeles Chargers at Kansas City Chiefs | Saturday, Dec. 16 | 7:25 p.m. | NFL Network

With three weeks left in the NFL regular season, Saturday’s game between the top two teams in the AFC West is big for playoff contention. Hunter Henry and the Chargers travel to Kansas City with a lot on the line. The Chargers have seemed to find the key to success – throw the ball to Henry. All seven of Los Angeles’ wins this season are in games where Henry was targets at least five times, including each of the last four. Last week was the 13th time that Henry was been targeted five or more times in his career. The Chargers are 8-5 in those games, including victors of seven straight. In those seven wins this season, Henry has caught 30 receptions for 380 yards and three touchdowns. Henry ranks ninth among NFL tight ends in receiving yards and second in yards per catch (13.1) and first down percentage (71.4) among tight ends with at least 40 receptions.

Baltimore Ravens at Cleveland Browns | Sunday, Dec. 17 | 12:00 p.m. | CBS

Four games out of first place in the AFC North, Alex Collins and the Ravens’ only playoff hopes lie solely in chance of earning a wild card bid. At 7-6 with the their last three opponents holding an 8-31 combined record, the Ravens have a chance of sweeping the last three weeks if they can stay on track. Before a one-point loss at Pittsburgh last week, the Ravens were cruising with a three-game winning streak. A large reason is running back Alex Collins. Over the last four weeks, Collins has rushed for 304 yards on 69 carries and all five of his touchdowns, including at least one rushing score in all four games.

Among backs with at least 150 carries this season, Collins leads the league in yards per carry at 5.1 and ranks 9th in the league in rushing yards with 825.

New England Patriots at Pittsburgh Steelers | Sunday, Dec. 17 | 3:25 p.m. | CBS

A New England win or a Buffalo loss in week 15 clinches a playoff spot for the defending Super Bowl Champions for the ninth straight season and the 14th time in the last 15 years. Defensive lineman Trey Flowers was ruled out last week in the loss at Miami due to an ongoing rib injury but could make a return this week against the Steelers. Flowers has 46 tackles, six sacks, five tackles for loss, 19 quarterback hits, two forced fumble and three pass deflections in his third year in the league. Flowers’ 46 tackles ranks sixth on the team and is the most among Patriot defensive linemen, while his six sacks are a team high. Another Razorback on the roster is defensive lineman Deatrich Wise. Wise has 21 tackles this season, three sacks, four tackles for loss, 15 quarterback hits and one pass deflection. The two have lead the Patriots in quarterback hits, combining for 34 of the teams 70 pressures.
