Arkansas will have 10 former players participate in NFL action this weekend as WR Jarius Wright and the Vikings have a bye week. Three other #ProHogs are on injured reserve (Derby, Mitchel and Spaight) while two are on practice squads (Herndon and Thomas).
The highlight of this week’s action is Thursday Night Football when QB Ryan Mallett leads the Houston Texans against the Indianapolis Colts. Mallett struggled last week, but the Texans have a favorable matchup at home against a Colts team that is in the league’s bottom third of total defense.
Rookie DL Darius Philon will make his Monday Night Football debut this week as his San Diego Chargers host the Pittsburgh Steelers.
There are also two games featuring multiple #ProHogs. Zach Hocker’s New Orleans Saints will play at Jason Peter’s Philadelphia Eagles. In the Sunday late afternoon slate, Trey Flowers will look for his first regular season action with the New England Patriots when they take on Darren McFadden and the Dallas Cowboys.
