#ProHogs: Week 6

List of #ProHogs

The San Diego Chargers used their injured reserve/designated to return spot on former Razorback defensive lineman Darius Philon this week. A rookie, Philon has played in four games this season. He will be eligible to return to practice in six weeks and can return to game action in eight weeks. He becomes the fourth Razorback in the NFL Draft class of 2015 to be placed on injured reserve this season.

A pair of noon kickoffs will feature a former Razorback on each team. Quarterback Ryan Mallett visits defensive lineman Chris Smith in the Texans/Jaguars game while running back Knile Davis and the Kansas City Chiefs head to Minnesota to play wide receiver Jarius Wright and the Vikings.

This week’s Sunday Night Football game showcases defensive lineman Trey Flowers and the New England Patriots against the Indianapolis Colts. Flowers has yet to appear in an NFL game. He sacked Pro Bowl quarterback Aaron Rodgers in the preseason but was injured later in the game and has not played much since.

On Monday Night Football, offensive lineman Jason Peters and his Philadelphia Eagles will host the New York Giants. The 7-time Pro Bowler played mostly tight end at Arkansas before signing with the Buffalo Bills as an undrafted free agent in 2004.
